I6 with no dashboard when not running?

Hi guys !

first off all, please appologise my poor english Wink

Yesterday's Christmas mishap, my beauty did something weird to me, she refused to start as if there wasn't enough current to turn on the dashboard or the headlights, but enough to turn on the radio and centralization?!

I thought the battery was too weak, so I took it apart and charged it overnight.
In the morning, same problem despite the battery being fully charged??!
I searched on different forums and found the solution on FREEL2...
These are fuses F4 and F8 which need a little scraping!!
Once it was done, it started like a charm, but I've got a problem:

When I open my door, it does not appear anything on the dashboard (no information on the on -board computer), no "ABS" seer etc ...
The indicators work if I press the warning button, and the
Mileage if I press the button ...

Once the Miss has started, everything is displayed normally?!

Has anyone ever had that?

Thank you all for your help, I start to lose patience with this wonderful but capricious car!

It could still be the battery in all seriousness BUT......

If you had a fidgety passenger over the holidays, I would pull back the carpeting on the passenger side and check the junction box just below the fuse panel in the footwell. Make sure the 4 connections are snuggly in place.

So, the battery may still be fubar even though the voltage may give you 12+ volts. If you are certain that the battery will pass a load test then I would put a LR/FL2 code reader on it and pull the codes. You can also do a hard battery reset and see if that helps.

Just to clarify, with the key in the ignition and engine off, you get nothing on the dashboard or the message center 8until the vehicle is started?

Hits on the search bar for "hard battery reset":

Hi, thank you for the answer !

I've allreday done a "hard reset" with no results unfortunately...

I've connected my "AUTEL AP200" to reads faults, it "see" there is a problem with instruments but it can't read it (and erase it off course!)

i'm getting mad with that car Big Cry

Just checking, you have tried putting the key in the ignition then, without putting your foot on the brake or clutch, pressing the start button? This starts the car systems without starting the engine.

An other thing,

I've got no light at the gear stick (Automatic transmission) to "say" if P/R/N/D is selected like this picture :

Any advice?
