An OE hose isn't that expensive, I paid about £80 for mine, and was definitely worth it for the quality of the fit.

Could you let us know the OEM for the steering please.

Power steering hose - LR001099
Power steering pipe feed and return -LR029185

1st one paid £89.99
2nd one paid £53.95

See my earlier post today
Thanks

Still on the waiting list, Land Rover can't give me a time when they are due in stock.
I bought a package from RTV Automotive and I got an Auto Mechanic to come and fit it, after the fitting and the bleeding of the air out the system. I left the car idling for 30minutes as it had not been started for a few weeks power steering seemed okay, until I reversed the car out the drive and heard an almighty bang stopped to check it out, the fluid and high pressure hose was off.
I then started reading some post some were saying the reservoir should be changed, as it has a filter inside that cannot be removed to clean and the fluid should be CHF202 Green.
I then decided to do this myself, bought a new reservoir and the fluid. I reseated the hose and felt a good connection to the hard pipe on the rack.Fitted the new reservoir and carried on with adding the fluid.
Everything seems to be okay, just passed an MOT last week.( no problem with the power steering so far done over 150 miles) Hope this helps you out.

Hope the link opens for you

mine are only weeping slightly at the moment, garage said it would pass MOT so hopefully hanging on for genuine parts,l couldnt risk it failing at any point.
l have the ebay part and will show it to a hydraulic hose chap l know and ask his advice and also noticed the original part on the vehicle has a plastic clip over the problem hose?
