Have this new nokia n97 arriving soon.

1st, Does anyone else have it, and whats it like?
2nd Does it pair to the FL2 08 models?

Theres nothing on the Landrover site.

Got the N97 last week and its OK, Theres a known problem with Youtube and Vodaphone which they say will be fixed soon. The Accuweather site dosn't seem to work, I can't get it to find any place name that I search on! The cost of downloads from Nokia is expensive and thereare not that many to choose from. As for pairing to the FL2, no idea! I only have the GS model.

I have the 5800 which uses similar software to the new N96 and I get partial comatability, i don't get call lists or phone book access, exactly as it says on the Landrover Bluetooth website.

Put in the last six digits of your vin number and then the phone info, the results tend to be spot on as far as I have used it.

Isn't there a way to update your car's software that would enable you to use newer phones?
It annoys me that cos mine is an 07 some of the newer phones don't work

The last i asked at T&C, they said they would update the software at a cost.

i got the 5800, but sent it back due to the incompataility with LR Bluetooth. i like to know who's ringing me before answer, especially in the car. Also as the majority of calls i make are calling people back the recent calls list is invaluable

No how much to update the software

Do what I did found a phone (nokia 6300) that was fully compatable but wasn't giving all the functions As per below, and got the system updated for free.

Might be slightly different as mine was not showing service provider or signal strength but worked in all other aspects Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Got A N97 today works perfectly with My Nokia Blue tooth KIt
Glad I didn't shell out the extra for the L/R tackle
