L359 2008 Water in Driver's Footwell

Hi All, does anyone know what could be causing the water shown getting into the drivers footwell in the photo? The car had been left parked and running for about 15-20 mins and when I got back in the water was coming from the top of the center console and it was warm. Any advice would be great.[/b]

PS - tried to upload photo but doesn't seem to work. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Heater matrix, as its warm most likely. check coolant level if its down then that would confirm it. 2013 FL2 XS.

The heater drain hose gets blocked, so the condensate from the AC evaporator leaks into the cabin on the RH side of the vehicle.
The hose needs clearing so it can drain freely again.
Beavis Pitts on YouTube has a video on this subject. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

Thanks Rommel and Nodge68. I've managed to add the photo now. If looking at that you are swayed more towards the Matrix or the AC drain then please let me know.

Looking at the photo could be either? I would check the air con drain pipe first as its a hell of a lot easier
than changing the heater matrix watch the vid

If? it turns out to be be the matrix you could try some sealer in the coolant?

Good luck. 2013 FL2 XS.

Thanks Rommel. Having watched the video I'll give the AC drain a look - fingers crossed

If it's not loosing coolant, then it's not the matrix. You can smell OAT coolant anyway, so I'm sure you'd know if it was the matrix.
It's almost certainly the AC drain. They produce a huge amount of water, so if it can't drain, it will flood the floor. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

Hi Rommel and Nudge68,
It was the AC Drain. Gave it a blow through and now all back to normal.
Thanks!!
