So that RH side front mudshield has arrived from Craddocks. Cant find a LH anywhere. Several suppliers have said they dont know when any might be available.


Interestingly the "genuine" part is a FoMoCo part. I wonder if they are used on any other Ford vehicles besides the FL2 and therefore available via Ford parts ?

Have you tried googling 'Ford 2C447' and 'Ford 2C448' as "2C447-BD' comes up as a Ford Kuga Disc Dust Shield.
Might be worth trying the images around that number for a match? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Anyway Ive got the one that has caused issues, so I'll change that next week.

This week its all about repairing the flaunching on my chimneys. Ive been waiting 3 weeks for the scaffolders but the weather has delayed my starting. I made a start this afternoon. Jules

Replaced front RH back plate this evening- the 3 T25 screws were also severely rusted and so I replaced them with M6 bolts and washers. About an hours work.

The old one was hanging free at the bottom. Jules
