One of my Defenders has both front shields missing and has never been mentioned on the MOT. 2013 FL2 XS.

So that RH side front mudshield has arrived from Craddocks. Cant find a LH anywhere. Several suppliers have said they dont know when any might be available.

Have a look at Volvo XC 60 for the same year , they had a lot of the Ford parts bin in common with the FL2 . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Have you tried googling 'Ford 2C447' and 'Ford 2C448' as "2C447-BD' comes up as a Ford Kuga Disc Dust Shield.

Im pretty sure, having searched on google, that the ford OEM number is 6G91-2C447-BE

Maybe it's a Freelander specific part, just manufactured by a Ford OEM supplier, hence the FoMoCo name and Ford PN? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
