Actually, I quite liked the original DC100 concept. Not as a Defender replacement, but as another vehicle in the range, like they did with the Evoque. It seemed to be the perfect small vehicle in my opinion to replace the original 3 door Freelander, something that was missing with the Freelander 2.

We would have got a Defender but it would not have fitted in the garage (new one is still too high), it's why we bought the Freelander, it literally scraps in.

Would be interested in a smaller Defender, but will it have 1850mm sleeping length as the Freelander? Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
