United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey
2007 119K - New MOT

Onto my 5th MOT with my beloveded Landy.
And passed with only 1 advisory - rear drive shaft gaiter needs a new clip.
Very happy.
also the car is driving so well, did a 260mile round trip to Coventry at the weekend and returned 46MPG. this old girl is maturing so well with age.

never hit 50mpg - got close with 47mpg on a return run to Coventry.
Suspect my tryes and roof bars could be stopping that.

What year is yours?

My 2007 TD4 (Auto) is getting about 33mpg on a motorway run @ about 65-70, 21mpg on very short journeys around town and 26-27 when doing mixed road trips over 30 miles. None of this is with a heavy foot. 2007 Freelander 2

Autos will use more fuel than a manual TD4 I never get below 30mpg round town lowest it does is 33/34 mpg, check your tyre pressures often and check brakes are not binding? 2013 FL2 XS.

Thanks, any other tips or things to look out for?

I was tempted to get a company to look at a improved efficiency ECU remap

What's the best way to check brakes are not binding? Car doesn't feel sluggish or slow. Cant smell anything either 2007 Freelander 2
