White cars are European (unpigmented)

I know how you Brits like white cars; here's a white car now even whiter! Wink

I am a heterosexual.

They tend to blend in on white sand.

I'm not sure we actually like them but it's often the only 'non cost' option on new cars and buyers don't want to spend £500+ on anything else. I personally wouldn't want a white car. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I've got an Orkney grey one. It's OK but wouldn't have been my first choice, just what was available when I was buying. Ideally Firenze red would have been my preference but buying second hand doesn't give you the luxury of choice.
It looks good when clean and polished but doesn't 'pop' like a black or red one would.

@Lightwater...An excellent demonstration of how not to be seen.

@Bobupndown...I did not know colors cost extra; I'm not sure if it's the same in the U.S., I've not had the privilege of ordering a new Rover from the factory. It stands to reason then why many fleet and commercial vehicles are white.

Good looking colors all! I have always wanted a green one.
