AFAIK the toll tags are only available if you have a french bank account to debit the money from, and the toll gates for tagged cars have a 2m height restriction so no good with a caravan or topbox on a F2. Crying or Very sad
The Aire's have the info leaflets in them but I have never really studied them. On our last trip virtually all the toll booths were automated and took English bank cards or Euros.

The Lorry lanes are charged at a rate up to 3 times that for a car and 2 times that for a car and caravan.

this was talked about on Disco3.co.uk and some of the members who drive/live in France gave some excellant advice on the tolls

Might be worth a post asking for advice or the topic location if you can't find it Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Copied from another forum

Most, if not all, of the french autoroute companies can provide you with Telepeage badges ("Liber-T"). The problem is mostly about setting up the automatic payment of the monthly bill.

SANEF are most popular with UK drivers because they run the sections of autoroute nearest the eastern channel ports. SANEF will provide you with a badge for class 1 use (i.e. a car or a car with a low trailer) and are happy to debit your visa or mastercard account.

ALIS are more flexible in that they will also supply badges for class 2 use (i.e. car and caravan), but they will not do Visa or Mastercard and so you have to have a French bank account. Apperently they are happy with you having a badge for class 1 use and another one for class 2 use, you just have to sign up twice.

Here is their link -
http://www.offres-alis.com/gb/confort.php

Irrespective of which company supplies the badge, you can use it across the whole French autoroute network.

If anyone is very interested in this topic there is a long, but informative, thread on this forum -
