United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black
Is the SD4 Euro 4 or Euro 5?

Morning All,

In a dilemma trying to source a catalytic converter for my 2010 SD4.

LR say part nbr is LR044105 and when I search ebay parts come up but are listed as Euro 4, and also compatible with the TD4 going back to 2006 in some cases.

One supplier has said it's the incorrect part and has pointed me to another one listed as Euro5, and another has said the Euro 4 one fits my car for £130 less.

What to do?

Yes it sounds logical especially as they tend to sell next years MY at the end of the year so a car registered late 2010 would be a MY2011 and you’d presume a EURO5.

I always thought that all SD4s were Euro 5.

Although I can't find it quoted in the Sales Brochure.

It is however normal quoted as Euro 5

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

The exhausts for the CAT only and CAT/DPF are different, so only the correct sections will first. I'm confused. If the DPF is causing issues, why are you looking at replacing the CAT? 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
