My freelander has just decided to light up the engine management light. So at least I know the light works!
In an attempted to see what is going on I fired up SDD (V160). Is there a simpletons guide to SDD out there as it is nothing like any other diagnostics I have used?

Getting the codes out of it aren't too bad, the key one is a P0299 (Turbo underboost) so I am guessing I should start by looking for split hoses.
But from there I decided I wanted to look at live data to see (unmongst other things) whether my newly fitted O2 sensor was working.
The best I could find was one of the other codes (PAM B1B52-12) had a little 'scope symbol next to it, so clicking on that got me to a recorder app. Eventually I managed to find my 02 sensor (Lambda pre dpf, but I don't have a dpf) and got some live readings from that.
This leads to two questions:
1) Is it really that hard to read live data in SDD? Why was the PAM the only module that gave me access to it?
2) My lambda was apparenly reading a constant 10. Is that right? I assumed a wideband sensor should be reading 1 with perhaps minor variations as it warmed up?
