Roof rails.... Again...

I know there is lots of roof rail posts on here, the search bar brings up hundreds.
I've managed to get hold of some roof rails for my 2014 HSE with Panaramic roof, the rails I've got are for the non Panaramic roof, I realise the ones for the sunroof are higher but I never use the sunroof, I'll probably pull the fuse to stop it being used, so is the fitting the same and they're just fractionally lower?
Tia 😊

Probably no one has had both simultaneously to measure. Assemble the rails & cross brace, sit on the roof on bath towels so it doesn't scratch the roof & someone gently hold the rail on one side & test the sunroof. Maybe place some bubble wrap on the rails anywhere you think the glass roof may hit. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Not having a sunroof on my car ☚ī¸ I didn't have to consider this when fitting the roof rails but as the only cross bar is at the rear of the car does the opening part of the roof not do so without touching the rails?, or is it so wide that it would foul on the longitudinal rails too? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

This is probably the best thread on roof rails & sunroof: https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic23217.html Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
