Isle Of Man 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Indus Silver
Reverse switch

Hi can anyone tell or show me the location of the reversing switch, my reversing lights and mirror dip has stopped working, I have checked the fuse which is OK, I can see two items that look like the reversing switch under the Air Cleaner housing that bolt into the gearbox, one above the other, is it one of them? Any help would be appreciated.

According to the Haynes manual " ... is located on the upper face of the transmission." and there is a grainy pic. Not a great deal of help I'm afraid.
Maybe the free JLR workshop manual will offer more info & pics - search on this forum for it if you dont have it already.

The first and reverse switches are on the front face of the gearbox below the air filter housing assembly.
I'm not sure which is which though, so you'll need to check which one isn't working. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE.
Hyundai Ionic 5 Ultimate on order.

@ Tinkerer Cos Im in a good mood today as I saved £400 on new tyres for my Fiesta ST Ive found & posted the info you need...




Now download the manual (from where the pic came from) and have a good read - its very informative Smile Jules
