as a F2 i6 owner I am always looking at other i6's on the market and it amazes me that so called car dealers have no idea which power plant is in the i6's, here is a typical example,

with a nice video saying it's a V6 and they also show V configuration for the engine in their spec, they also have a few other i6's also showing them as V6's, you would think any dealer will look under the bonnet / hood to check what's there - would buy from them?

It seems a common problem now that people are being forced to buy unseen. Its a Ford straight six engine of course, and Volvo use them as well. A Volvo V70 is a good source of engines if you need one, I have the twin turbo three litre engine in a Volvo V70 T6.

The Freelander has a straight 6 which by design are better engines than a V6.
