wrong oil?

I have a fl2 registered june 2013 TD4 XS diesel
ive always used Castrol Edge Professional C1 5W-30 5W30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil
Is this the wrong oil?

Does it meet the requirements stated in your user manual for the car? Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Why do you think its the wrong oil? what does your owners manual say ?

The spec for mine is Ford WSS-M2C934-B C1 5w-30 and I use Smith & Allan Momentum. Why pay more when any oil that meets the spec is fine. Jules

That seems to be the correct spec c1 low ash oil required for dpf equipped Freelander 2s Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
