Having owned the dynamic from new and keeping it forever my original factory tyres will be getting replaced in summer whist the wheels are being refurbed.


Does any one know of any companies doing offers for General Grabber AT3 235/55R19.

You just can't get hold of them, or pay through the nose for NOS.

We've just fitted Yokohama geolander AT's on our Discovery Sport which I would say are an equivalent to the General Grabbers and quite a bit cheaper. Give Blackcircles a try we got four 235/55/19s for just under £500 with an extra discount code a few weeks ago.

Yes the Ds is on 19's and it rides nicely on the Yokohamas.

Just going to stick this out there, but if you do not plan to do much green laning etc then I can highly highly recommend a set of Vredestein Quadtrac Pro all season tyres. Truly excellent all round all season tyres. Suit a Freelander 2 perfectly.

Despite being a big General Grabber fan their prices have got ridiculous lately.

General Grabber AT3s arrived today. I’ve not seen any Freelander with 19s on with these fitted.

Cost me more than the quoted price and ended up costing £720 delivered.

Will get the wheels refurbed next year and then have the AT3s fitted.

I have been running 19" AT3s for quite a while now on the Freelander and 18s on the Discovery 2. Excellent tyres as were the AT2s !! 2010 Aintree Green Freelander TD4 HSE.
