FL2 i6 Values

FL2 i6 values are of passing interest to me and I keep an occasional eye on them.

By my reckoning current value for a 100k mileage i6 is around the £6k mark. However, sometimes an import comes along from Japan which will be younger, less miles and valued around £12k

However, there is a dealer in Rickmansworth that has a lovely condition, nicely spec'd i6 with 48k miles, one owner, Tonga Green with Alpaca interior (just the colour combo I unsuccessfully sought when sourcing my own i6). The advertised price? £15,555 to you, sir!

Even allowing for all the pluses that car has going for it, I feel the dealer is extracting the whatsit asking that much.

It does look to be in nice condition.

I can't see any warranty offered.

If you really wanted an early i6, then I guess you would pay the price, after getting the selling garage to arrange a 12 month warranty at their cost.

Whatcar values my 2014 SE Tech SD4 (55K miles) at £13500 so I think they are definitely having a laugh in Rickmansworth. Jules

bUt ThE uLeZ..... Rolling Eyes

Some folk have wholly lost their senses with regard to what actually makes sense in the light of the potential costs of the zone. Here is a fine example. Current driveway contents:
2021 V60 Cross Country B5
2009 FL2 dog bus and shooting wagon

On Order: 2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra - deposit paid.

Autotrader Private Sale Value of my Metro 65000mile is £13800, so price of advertised car is not extreme if it is Serviced, MOT'ed, and Warranted.

And of course, you really, really, want an i6 version.

At that sort of mileage there should quite a few years left in it.

It took me over a year to find a good FL2 Metro to replace my previous XS, and I paid top whack for a LR Warranted vehicle.
It was worth it to get what I wanted. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Just shows that good low mileage vehicles are still highly regarded and sought after.
What is the alternative? Seeing the disaster that is the Ingenium engine it's not a DS for me. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Probably wrong but I thought all the early i6 HSE had BiXenon (HiD) headlamps. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Mine doesn't have them. Common sense isn't very common.

Perhaps the FL2 is on its way to become a CLASSIC.

From past experience I think I can see some of the signs starting to appear.

No, it shows some dealers will try anything to rinse £10k profit out of an idiot. Current driveway contents:
2021 V60 Cross Country B5
2009 FL2 dog bus and shooting wagon

On Order: 2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra - deposit paid.
