Cam driven fuel pump

Has any got any links for a video to remove the fuel pump that's driven by the exhaust cam ... is there any precautions to take when removing it and a simple way to bench test it on a 2.2 freelander 2

No. It's just a case of unbolting it. The pipes are a pain, and the drive needs careful alignment when refitting, but it's not a difficult job.
Is there a reason to remove it? They're generally very reliable, often more reliable than the cam that drives it. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

From the attached part description it looks like that piece comes with fuel pump.

I think that`s what that part is meant to look like! What makes you think it is broken? It goes between the camshaft and the HP pump to provide drive to the pump. It is usually the end of the camshaft that that part slots into that shears off!
