Wiper Switch Issue

Hi. I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction with a wiper issue that cropped up today on my 07 fl2 se. When I switched my wipers to intermittent they didn't come on. However, the rear wiper did, but to really confuse the matter, the right hand indicator also came on. I also checked the wipers at normal speed and fast speed with the same outcome. It didn't matter if the stalk was in the forward or rear postion, the same thing happened. The only wipers that are working is the manual sweep by pressing down on the stalk - the washers front and rear are also working. I'm hoping it's just a stalk fault, but the right hand indicator coming on is confusing me.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

An SE spec doesn't have an intermittent wiper position, the first click up is automatic control, so it can be left in that position all the time.

However the indicator flashing isn't correct.
You could try a hard reset, and see if that solves the issue. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

What happens when you select Left Turn on the stalk. I suggest you try effects of selecting each of both stalk's functions and document the results. If you cannot see what is malfuntioning, post them on forum.

As you have 2 problems in the same area (but on different stalks) have you damaged the cable from the steering wheel area to I believe) the Central Junction Box. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
