Nothing received by 5pm, so i rang them apparently the fax machine couldn't cope with the amount, so they have placed it in the post Rolling with laughter

update :

Guy Salmon have been spending the last 5 days working out why my car lost power.

Bearing in mind i spoke to them on Monday morning and explained the saga saying "i lost power this time when the cars temp gauge went right up into the red and the light came on"

They have just told me the loss of power was down to a EGR valve which they are replacing and when i asked them the reason for it thinking its overheating he didn't know what i was talking about Confused

My normal dealer has said the 2 can not be related Confused

Anybody know what Audi or VW dealers are like as those brands are looking mighty good at the moment to me Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I think we would all agree that the VW is pretty awful, but the new Q5 is certainly worth a second look.

thinking Toureg if i go VW or Q5 or a slightly older Q7 if i pop to Audi, but i would have to look into Company car and fuel tax on them all when the change comes

Another one would be the Lexus RX400h as my dad(my boss) has one and has had no faults on the last 3 he has owned, so in his eye they are brilliant Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Just had a phone call from LR customer relations

They have been informed that GS. are going to be investigating the overheating issue, but they have to put the car back together after replacing the EGR valve

a few hours earlier they didn't know anything about a overheat......Funny that...... Neutral Yawn Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
