England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Baltic Blue
Locking nut

Hi anyone in Liverpool area help rounded my locking nut key welded nut to one to get out but need to get other 3 out pic of my nut pattern if any one can be kind to help have order new set but want off just in case whilst waiting thanks

If you need to get it off, tighten the other 4 nuts as much as you can. But not with an impact wrench.

Make a key by drilling a couple of holes through a bit of aluminium plate, preferably 5083 alloy. Push through the drilled holes some spare Allen Keys. Put a leaver through the back end of the keys. The aluminium will stop the keys twisting. Allen Keys are hardened enough to not bend unless they are Chinese rubbish. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
