sqeeky dashboard on freelander 2 metropolis only on hot days driving me nuts help please Big Cry .

Squeaky dashboard is a bit generic. There are some photos in this thread https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic33026-61.html behind trim panels. If in the corners you will need to take off the A column trim panel, screw (star bolt) behind airbag logo. Then pull out the vent, then lift up the speaker trim, they both need a sharp tug to pull out.

It is very well put together so really shouldn't squeak.

If it is the driver's display, there are 2 screws at the top, undo those & pull the display forward, there is an empty space behind, but maybe an edge might rub.

Thanks lightwater, problem seems to be driver's display area,only when been in the sun, different amounts of expansion i guess.
