3.2 battery capacity.

My battery is dead and won't charge, typically after every other recent problem I've encountered. It means I can't bleed the cooling system after my recent coolant hose failure.
My current one is 80ah and is four years old.
I've visited numerous sites that all claim different ah for the 3.2, some as low as 50ah.
What are fellow members running on their 3.2 ?

As much amp hours/reserve capacity that I can get. I run a Energizer H7 AGM from Costco, purchased in 2019. Ran it down once due to auto light setting and have never had any issue since.

I'll have a look at mine for you when i get it back from having a new front wing fitted. Common sense isn't very common.

Replaced my original, 80Ah from memory, with a Varta silver dynamic F18 85Ah 800A a couple of years ago. Has been fine since fitting, even down to -20C.

I've gone for an Exide 85ah 800cca.

I noticed that "genuine" Land Rover branded batteries all seem to have Exide on the label.

It should arrive tomorrow (Thursday).
I'll keep you posted on how it performs .

I have done exactly the same. I would put in a larger battery if there was more room. The car has so much electronics it needs the largest battery possible. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Yep, almost seems like it starts within milliseconds of pushing the start button.
Something else, the negative terminal is tighter on the post Thumbs Up , my old battery's negative post needed an adaptor and it was never "tight" even then, which I supposed didn't help with it's demise.

I also monitor the battery health with a scanner designed for that and replace it before I start having symptoms on the vehicle... waiting for low-voltage gremlins is asking for trouble on this car.

I get about 4-5 years out of a battery, and that's in the med-like climate of southern California.
