Should have bought one of these years ago.

600mm high, just right for cleaning the roof and windscreen.
Why did I struggle on steps for years?

Handy have had one since Disco 2 days. Also useful for cleaning windows and decorating I'm told. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I have a moulded two step plastic one. Had it over two decades. Apart from handy to reach across the roof of the car, it is also handy to saw pieces of timber over the edge, or to drill on as a low bench when you need to get some weight behind. A low bench for working on pot plants etc. It hangs upside down on the garage wall out the way but ready to use. Also good height for a seat. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Is there a link for the supplier? I bought a plastic platform that performed so badly i didn’t want it replaced when it broke second time of using. So much for reviews!!!

Last year ‘Lidl in the middle’ had a plastic step for only a few quid, max weightload 150kg. Significant Other uses it indoors

Found them. Same item, slightly more expensive on Amazon than from a dealer so dealer wins and saves on Amazon fees.

Thanks for the suggestions, I had a fold up plastic step that disintegrated and the aluminium suggestions don’t have the stabiliser bars on the feet. While I don’t need stabilisers to ride a Ducati I do like stable working platforms.

The service from safetyplatforms.co.uk was so good they deserve a mention here. Delivery in 3 to 5 working days. Nope, less than 24 hours since the order was placed. So cheaper than Amazon (even including the so-called slow delivery) but a cracking work platform.

Sorry for late reply missed your post. I got mine from laddes4sale on eBay, it seems quite hard to find 600mm high hop ups.
I'm 5'10" tall and find this the perfect size to reach the centre of the roof.

That’s okay. As I said, I found the same item on the internet. The extra width adds to the stability and you’re right, that is just enough height to be able to reach the middle of the roof comfortably.
