Drivers door window controls not working

Any one got some ideas on this one.
For some reason the drivers door controls (window switches, mirror adj, rear window lock) on my SE all stopped working for a couple of days last week, this coinsided with a buzzing/interferance sound coming out of the drivers side tweeter speaker (radio not on) before start up.
I had the window half way down at the time and the only way i could close it was via the window close mode on the remote lock button.
I had this buzzing sound a few months ago but it did'nt effect the door controls so i'm wondering if this is conected to the door controls or not.

Really got me baffled this one, any ideas or similar expieriences out there.

Hi sammythedog,

Did you find out what the problem was?

I have a buzzing tweeter in the passenger door, and the rear passenger door will not lock/unlock using the central locking. There doesn't appear to be anything else wrong.

I have pulled some fuses to try to reset whatever might be causing the issue, but no change, so I suspect it will be a visit to the dealer.

Any ideas??

Door Module would be first thing to check as all these functions are controlled via the door module.
Possibly disconnect battery for 30mins to reset, or hard reset, worth trying to see if it fixes it.
Module may have lost communication. MY15

I can confirm that if you have this problem, then do not immediately assume that the control module is broken. First check fuse F17 in the passenger footwell. This fuse is for the interior lights (which you might have noticed are not working as well), but strangely this fuse also isolates the driver's side window control panel. Despite the manual indicating that fuse F1 in the boot is the culprit (this is the primary fuse).
It will cost you about 10p as opposed to £50 for a new control module. Shocked Rolling Eyes -------------------------------------------------------------
