this is the question i asked awhile a go but got no replies.Has anyone had a cambelt fail,on a freelander,and at what mileage?anyway,ive just done mine at 81000,12 years old.also changed all pulleys and tensioners,alternator pulley and crankshaft pulley.(kit including water pump)

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

I've come across 2 PSA DW12 belt failures, both were tensioner related, and both likely installation error, as the tensioner had backed off, allowing the belt to jump.
If you remove a 150k mile belt on these engines, it still looks like new, they are very long lived. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate on order.
Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE.
