Turbo Breather missing

Hi All,

Just drove to work and had a look under my bonnet as the car felt down on power in 3rd and 4th when at 5th it seemed ok. I have noticed the turbo breather hose was disconnected and the breather the yellow breather that only connects at one end is missing. Would this make the car drive sluggishly?

What engine have you got?
Any pics?
Didn't know the turbo had a breather pipe. Do you mean the turbo intake pipe from the air filter? Jules

There won't be a turbo breather if there's no turbo. Whistle
Modern turbos don't need breathers anyway, as they're controlled by an electronic actuator. Thumbs Up 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.
