P 0561, HDC fault, 3 yellow symbols on dash now, no start

Well, I did not expect my day to go like this but.....

Started LR2, after about a minute, started hearing some weird sounds. I thought it could be the PCV cover but I changed that a few weeks back pro actively. Drove for about two-three minutes with squeaks and smelled a mild burning. Both squeak and smell went away after another 5 mins. I drove it for almost an hour and notice the the transmission seemed to really lag, a bit jerky on take off and acceleration was slow, then the HDC fault beeped on dash and I got 3 yellow symbols (ABS, Message Centre & HDC). Parked and shut it down and can not restart.

So, my thoughts, the alternator is toast? The brakes overheated or a wheel sensor is bad? I don't think it's a battery issue; battery is AGM bought at the beginning of 2020.

I did read the codes: P0561, powertrain unstable voltage. Only code without scanning without an actual SDD scan.

Thoughts???

Boosted it and she starts; the alternator is toast, not charging the battery while vehicle is running. Now to find a replacement at a fair price before the battery is totally flat and gives me a ton of issues. Crying or Very sad Wink
