Due to a house move I don't have room to store my winter wheels so they are up for sale.
I bought the tyres brand new, winter 2012 so they are just over 9 years old.
When not in use they were kept in a dry dark building so they are still in good condition.
They all have 6mm tread on them (I don't use the vehcile that much, its a 2007 with 53k on it).

I also bought the Alloys on ebay at the same time, they had some marks on them but as they were winter wheels I wasn't too bothered about that. When they arrived I put a bit of electrical tape on them to mark them as my winter alloys, I think I was having new wranglers put on two of the summer alloys and didn't want them mixed up. When the winter tyres were fitted to them and on the car I peeled the tape off and some of the silver peeled off with it (you can see it clearly in the photos). The alloys had obviously been spray painted with a rattle can.

I should have kicked up a fuss with the ebay seller but as I had already paid to have the tyres fitted and they were only winter wheels I didn't bother. 9 years on they don't appear to have changed that much.

Hi there, what are the tyres like for road noise/comfort etc? Been looking for some alloys exactly like these so very interested. Just want to know if I’ll need new tyres to go with them as they’ll be replacing my 17inch alloys. Thanks

I have never really paid that much attention to those aspects but I have never noticed any road noise with them or comfort issues, so I'd guess they don't suffer from that.

I just searched my emails for the order details when I bought them originally, their ratings are:

Fuel Eff.: E
Wet Grip: C
NoiseClass: 2
Noise: 72dB

I paid £613 for the 4 tyres back in January 2013.

Champion. I’ve just checked the ratings against my current set of tyres and they’re only marginally louder/less fuel efficient (imagine being bothered about that with a Land Rover ).
