I am new in the forum. My Freelander 2 will be delivered next monday.

I am curious about one thing. The dealership told me that the service intervals are 12000 km's. Is there a reason why this is so short?

What are the service intervals in other countries?

24000 km or one year depending on what comes first

Can highly recommend Turkey for a holiday destination, it was a few years ago but the resort was called Kusadasi - very nice

The service interval is 24'000 km in Russia. But there is additionally oil-service 12'000 km. Look at your service manual

Turkey is a fantastic country, but you have to get away from the holiday resorts

There are some fantastic birds in Turkey, but I dont recall any natural blonds - so it must have been an imported one

PS - I think the service interval is the same for Turkey as for Europe - think your dealer got 12000 kms mixed up with miles (= 24000 kms) 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Thanks for all the answers everybody.

I will check the manual as it arrives, but as lar mentioned it might be just oil at 12.000 km's.

About the incident with Football Fans in Istanbul, well sh!t happens. Don't hold yourself back because of that npinks. I guess the guys were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. It can happen everywhere.

I will post pics of the car as soon as I will get it next week. It was a though desicion between Q5, GLK and Freelander, but I am certain that I will be wery happy with it.
