Just for fun

Just for fun - and just because I could, I decided to use a bit of smoke car wrap I had lying around and try and match the headlights to the rears.
Because it's smoked and not a full colour, it still shows the indicator (or the little of it that the wrap has covered).
Like I say,it's just a bit of fun and I have no intention of leaving it on.

ronp, previous member, did a similar 'wrap' on a set of regular (not Powerful) rear lamps.

Check PowerfulUK's site? Beale's size might be different however?

EDIT: Disregard, Beale's stuff looks different.

"1.5M*4.5CM Universal Car Wheel Arch Trim Fender Flares Protection Strip Rubber" from Ebay Item no,384161630136

Really need to get some more. They went on OK, but I went at it like a bull at a gate due to fading light. You can see where they're not quite following the arch contour in some places, because once they stick, they stick really well. Due to the curvature of the arch, they tended to get a bit stiff and try to straighten at the bottom of the arch. They do become much more supple with a heat gun, so next time I'll use one. Also, I'll cut them before fitting, leaving enough over for trimming. I made the mistake of fitting them as a full arch, then cutting the door shuts and bumper lines, but of course they're under tension and tend to tear rather than form a nice straight line.
So, they're OK for now, but I'll replace them properly when I can.
