Engine mount replacement 2.2d

Greetings everyone!

Lately I have experienced a weird vibration. It more feels like in the seats and floor rather than steering wheel. To eliminate all possibilities, all 4 wheel bearings are replaced, all 4 shock absorbers, inner and outer tie rods as well as steering rack refurbished. Wheels are balanced and alignment done. There is still a slight vibration on higher speeds, especially in 1500-2000 rev zone. I am currently looking at propshaft and engine mounts and want to start with the cheapest - engine mounts. Is it a DIY job, and how difficult is it? I've seen youtube videos and picture guides in this forum, but all of them are for 3.2 gasoline engine and not 2.2 diesel.

MY 2011 SD4

I have just in the Spring replaced all of mine it's a simple nut and bolt job, other than that you need a jack and axil stands, The gearbox mount although it says for a petrol car was identical to my existing mount and fits perfectly

Great to hear that, so that will indeed be next job on my list.
Additional questions:

Where did you put your jack - on a sump pan or somewhere else? My fear is that if i try to jack up the whole engine by putting all the weight on sump pan (even with a piece of wood), it would damage the pan since it is not very thick.

Could it be that one of mounts is different on m 2008 td4 152hp engine? 3 of the mounts are exactly the same, but when I put my VIN number into par catalogues, all of them show that the last mount looks like a regular bushing.

The bushing you show is not an engine mount.

Once the car is safely on axle stands the weight is taken on a short wooden plank or block put between the sump and jack. All you are doing is taking the weight off the mounts not lifting the car.

Sorry call me whatever you like but I wonder if you would be better having a garage do the work for you.

Had my spanner wielding mate change my mounts a couple of weeks back,
fairly straight forward to do, BUT if you're not used to working in the engine bay
then do consider taking it to a workshop.
I would mention, at least 5 people I spoke to regarding the slight vibration I had didn't
think it was the mounts, as the top stabiliser! had not torn or looked stressed in any way,
The large oil filled mount had indeed settled down enough to rub against the casing.
obviously, this might not be the problem with your own issue.
