I get the 'will shut down in 3 mins' warning on my dash regularly. Battery is only 1 year old. No other issues, starts perfectly. Just ignoring it for now. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I replaced my battery last month then a day or so later got the service due light on reset it myself and been ok since it could possibly be that removing the battery upsets the service interval??? 2013 FL2 XS.

found this ...

Battery replacement
If a new battery is fitted to the vehicle, the BMS (battery monitoring system) module will require recalibrating to register
the greater charge holding capacity of the battery, this is performed using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment. If a
diagnostic system is not available the BMS module will recalibrate automatically however, this could take 48 hours to
complete depending on vehicle usage. The Stop/Start system will not function correctly until the BMS module is
recalibrated.

That’s what it says in the encyclopaedia, but all I did was reset windows and stop/ start worked instantly.

Its true, on the FL2 it seems that the Battery Monitoring System is a bit eager, and the system 'learns' about capacity and usage over time and adjusts itself.

On top of this the FL2 electronic modules seem to be rather slow to ramp up and therefore can fail during the start phase.
Although Stop/Start FL2s have a Voltage Quality System that supplies the electronics separately during starts as far as I know all other FL2s are left to there own devices to survive this voltage drop.

This is a good article explaining the Stop/Start changes

And Searching on the Forum can find many posts about false messages and batteries such as this

If you have just replaced your battery, I suggest you carry on for a few weeks and then see what problems, if any, you have. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 76k+ miles) (MY2015)

It's possible that the oil service light is nothing to do with the battery change. This thread explains how to clear it https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic15000.html Richard M
