Australia 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Ipanema Sand

I use M6 stainless nuts and bolts. The nuts are held in place and don't rotate due to the plastic fillet gripping them. It's like this was the original design til someone saved pennies with those useless screws. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Put some grip fix in the original holes and let it set. once hardened drill it out and fit your original screws. Thumbs Up Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.
