I have heard that the standard halogen bulbs aren't great and some people upgrade to brighter bulbs. Does this apply to the facelift model because the lights seem to be different? I had a look on the LR website but couldn't find anything.

My uncle replaced bulbs in his FL2. Are the bulbs the same type and fitting in the facelift car?

bulbs in the old reflectors are h7 bulbs in the projectors are h11 XD not sure which ones are better as i put a hid in my projectors lol When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

Pre MY11 are both H7.

MY11 facelift are H7 main beam and H11 dipped, some say it was a backward step and I found my 'main beam' adequate and the 'dipped beam' not so good. I replaced my H11 dipped with Osram Nightbreaker plus and the difference is noticeable.

By the way, some MY11 owners manuals (like mine) have printed the wrong headlight type, saying 2 x H11's per side for main and dip..

i put osram night breakers in mine give good light, silghtly better then standard bulbs  rainy-city
