I have a 2012 SD4. On Friday i queued for 55 minutes to get diesel, i always put the car into neutral when in traffic as i got to near the front of the queue the car developed a problem that when i put it into drive it jolted , one time it was quite severe to the extent that it felt like the car behind had run into the back of me. It now jolts every time i select drive whether the car is hot or cold but is more noticeable when the engine is warm/hot. The rest of it is absolutely fine all gears select smoothly and sport and manual mode is fine. I had a drop and dump done about 3,000 miles ago and not had any problems, i towed my caravan in August and spent nearly 2 hrs in stop start traffic on the M25 and all was fine. I would appreciate any advise anyone can offer which may hopefully rectify this.
