hi could someone please explain what the difference is between the sat nav upgrade disks ie some are for 1 disk and others for 3 disks i have the single disk version and seems to give me the same information as the original 3 disk set that came with the fl2 but has the new roads around here on it and i have tried it to the alps and it also seems to be getting me there also any one put some light on this cheers

as far as i can see there is the same countries on the single as there is on all 3 orig disks |

I only got 1 disk with my car, should I have 3? It did work to the Alps but couldn't select destinations in e.g. Switzerland other than by scrolling the map to the approximate location. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE auto Tonga Green/Alpaca |

both my discs 07-08 and 08-09 have come with 3 discs Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Hi to you all , About the sat nav updated disc's Can you get an updated disc's with all the speed camras' sites (sorry safty camra's ) to work through the sat nav . save 's me sticking my road angle to the dash ??? because I would like to keep my licenecs clean and not found the goverment pocket's?? |

due to the type of encryption the data on the satnav disc's has not been cracked to enable to do this

It's not the encryption, but rather the encoding - how the data is stored on the disc, rather than any protection.

This may be daft. but does anyone else's dvd's work in the FL2 system 08 FL2 SE TD4 manual,Santorini Black, Factory fitted Black Tinted Glass, Anti-Tesco Trolly Side Protection, bebe confort axiss carseats & Cargo barrier to stop twin's buggy & junk coming through. NO Sweets Crisps or Drinks inside.

I suppose maybe a different brands Nav DVD might work if they use exactly the same system
