So i have a fairly mild shudder that sometimes occurs, but only under light acceleration when going uphill...

It's a "front end" shudder so probably not a torque converter or anything like that.
It only happens under light acceleration (not hard acceleration).
Stops when i take my foot off the accelerator.
Stops as my speed increases past the initial acceleration.

Could this be an inner CV joint?

I suspect it's something else...

Difficult to reply without knowing age, mileage, tire health, etc.
Tie rod ends? Bushings. Only an inspection to be sure. Guy Pensa
