DSC flashing,Terrain Response is faulty

Hello everybody!

My Freelander 2 2.2 TD4 Automatic MY2009 has an annoying issue.DSC is flashing(ABS light works fine) and terrain response faulty error in the message centre.DTC s stored are U0428-61 and U041594.Angle steering sensor and module are changed, but with no results.
Do you have and idea what to check? Many thanks!

If the battery is more than 4 years old, it's likely responsible for the error. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

There are many instances on here where people thought the battery was fine but a nice new one sorted it out.

My 2007 when I first got it was always turning the radio/cd off as saying low battery while not running, I had the terrain message once as well, a new battery & did the earth lead at the same time got rid of all that. 2014 Freelander 2 HSE Orkney Grey. Now sold.

I keep pushing the escape button but I am still here.

I didn't change the battery yet, since i am not driving the Freelander daily, and now it won't shift sport mode and it doesn't eject the key fob from ignition

I changed the battery with a new Varta Silver 85 Ah,but with no results.Instead, when i accelerate i hear a clunk noise coming from the right front wheel, and a bang in the rear of the car.I took out the fb6 fuse and the bang stopped.I might change the Haldex now

Have you any other fault codes, that you can read out.

If you have several, try listing them in chronological order, this will give you a chance of understanding what the car thinks is happening.

You were right to start by changing battery as poor voltage during the start sequence throws up random faults.

Which Module did you change?

I changed the angle steering sensor, but no results.DTC s stored are 2: U428-61 and U415-94.DSC is flashing but ABS warning lights are off.HDC is working fine. The car has a new battery.A few months ago i went into a pothole that gave me a clunk noise at the right front wheel.I hear that clunk when i accelerate or braking hard (i suspect a shock absober mount).
Other issue of the care is that the Haldex was serviced incorrectly, and that gave me a bang in the back of the car when accelerating on pavement, otherwise the 4x4 is working. When i took out the fb6 fuse, the bang obviously stopped.I want to change the entire Haldex and a new service for it.
All the electrical issues appeared after incorrect Haldex service
