Drivers seat

Hi all,
This is my second FL2 it’s a 2012 GS, just approaching the 100K club however the foam in the drivers lumbar support (non adjustable) seems to be collapsing a part of the frame digs into my back, it’s ok for the 25 minute journey to work but on the 4hr trip to the outlaws starts to hurt after an hour, very few used seats about does anyone know if can be repaired , see seat repairers on the TV car resto programmes maybe they could help?

May be possible to replace the foam... not sure if it’d be DIY though...

Whole seats (few on ebay) may be an option - perhaps for less than a reupholstery job.

Hello and welcome to the forum,
You could phone Exmoor trim and ask if they do any thing for the FL2
or a good upholsterer will do any repairs.

Shocked £154 + VAT & post! I would say a good upholsterer would be better.
or it might be worth looking for used seats, plenty out there.

£171.55 plus VAT & delivery (£214.46) if you please. The job looks fairly labour intensive so whether of not you’d get an upholsterer to do it for that sort of money, I don't know. I did suggest complete seats but finding the matching item may be down to good fortune.

Some info in other threads...

There are a number of seat repair discussions to be found.

Buy a full set of decent seats, maybe front armrests ones, shouldn't be that dear and you will have a matching set to glam up your GS.
