Parking in Brussels (Avenue Louise)

Am new to Belgium and Brussels. How every I will be driving to work everyday and have been offed a parking space under my office for $200 per month.

For anyone who knows Brussels well, does this sound OK? HSE, Auto, Colour - Yes

I don't have direct experience, but it sounds probably about right, though perhaps 150 Euros would be more reasonable. But you could consider other options.

Public transport is pretty good and cheap. 1.50 Euro for a single trip to go anywhere in Brussels on any combinatoin of transport. And if you buy a multi-travel ticket, its 1.1 Euros a trip.

Depending where you office is in Ave Louise. Parking in the Bois de la Cambre park at the soutern end is free. Then you could walk or get the tram along Ave Louise. Or take a bike with you and cycle.

Brussels is a great place to live once you get to know it. And plenty of potential for trips out - around Belgium, to France and to Holland .

Thanks for the info Oakwood, Bois de la Cambre park sound very interesting to me and will be checking that one out. I should be able to walk up to my office from there.
I am loving Belgium so far. The South of Belgium (I am lucky that the Father in Law rents a very large part of the Ardens) is so nice and I love going up to Westend in the North to be be the sea.
So far I like it more than England, but god dam all the taxs here...make England seem a cheap place to live (and I have always lived in London). HSE, Auto, Colour - Yes
