Noise P to R

Hi Guys,

I start hearing a little noise in the rear when going (only) from P to R.

Any ideas ?

Thx

What kind of noise?

Might just be the parking brake catching when the tranny applies rearward force on the wheels. Try it with the parking brake applied hard.

My normal brakes actually tend to make a clunk sometimes going into reverse, started that after I installed (quality) aftermarket pads. I took the wheels off and checked but everything was tight back there so I think that those pads just have maybe a tiny bit of play. Or maybe I need new pad clips, will do that next time. No problem with forward braking so I'm not worried about it since I naturally do very little rear braking and only at 5mph.

Hi Thumbs Up

It's a kind of "clic" somewhere underneath, in the middle or rear
could be the transmission mount I have to find a car lift and check
I go P to R only while pressing the brake pedal and parking brake hard applied
