Hot inside car.

Anyone found a remedy for how hot the car gets because of the sunroof.
I know there is a sliding screen but has anyone fitted some sort of sun blind above this.
Hope I have explained it well enough.

What about cutting one of those foiled heat reflecting screens to shape and fitting it between the sunroof and factory screen.

Hold the shade in the almost shut position, and then slide in a sheet of white cardboard. I do this for the whole of the summer months, only using the open roof in the winter. You might ask, why have a sunroof? to which I answer, it came with the car.

Damn, I love a sunroof but haven't got one on this Freelander. A few years back virtually everything came with sunroofs (ok it was probably early 90s now I think about it) pre aircon days.
Had 2 on the Discovery which were brill, if a bit leakey. A couple of our work Skodas have full length glass roofs but they don't open, don't really see the point in that. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

The wife's black Fl2 had the twin panoramic roof and we never really found it a problem with the blinds shut . I'd just put the aircon on low if I was you and the car will soon cool .

It seems that in most cars today the option is non opening panoramic glass roof or black headlining, sales and marketing making customers buy the panoramic roof the car is claustrophobic in black. I found using the tilt was adequate to dump heat, but in Cyprus in summer a fully open sun roof was too hot on the head Laughing my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
