Front wiper blades - which brand?

Previously I had wiper blades that were quiet while operating. When they got worn, as a replacement I bought Bosch, which are quite noisy - not while moving across the glass, but when they change direction. There is a reasonably loud “thud” as they start moving in the otber direction, which is very annoying. Not sure if anyone else experienced this, but can you please recommend an exact make/model of wiper bladew that you use and are happy with? Thanks

I use Bosch and have never noticed any noise. Next time I go out in the wet I'll listen out for it.

I have bosch wipers on my Renault and they do exactly what you say with a big thud every time they reverse. I bought them online during the lockdown and I wonder if they might be fakes. I had the same Bosch wipers previously and they didn't do that.

I usually buy cheap ones off ebay. Bought these a few weeks ago in time for MOT. £8.60 No problems.

Like Battery, like Tyres, like Oil, like Wipers ..... it's all a subjective choice. A choice that has been discussed many times on this forum. Whistle
