Passengers foot well fuse box earth point

Hi all

I have purchased a fuse 'fly lead' dashcam install kit to hard wire in my camera. However, the earth leg of the cable is pretty short so I am unable to fit the earth to a bolt behind the trim at the bottom of the front pillar as I've seen in 'how to' videos on Youtube.

Please could somebody recommend a good earth point very close to the fuse box behind the glove box?

Many thanks in advance.

Tom.

I'm sure I used a bolt that holds the fuse box on the fire wall for my camera, but then again the memory is not what it used to be.

There are torx bolts at the top of the metal frame above the fuse box, I have several additional earth's attached to those. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

With the glove box out. On the right hand side up high there is an earth. I have used it for my TPMS.

When you remove the screw with the existing lead the ventilation fan comes on, but it goes off once you screw it back on.

Make sure your that where you have run the cable down the A column trim panel, that the cable goes over then behind the airbag. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
