Does anyone have the part number for the copper washer that needs to be renewed when you top up the oil on the rear diff?

I believe it’s LR001949 but any of the correct size will do. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

If you are stuck for a washer you can renew copper crush washers providing they are not too badly damaged.

First flatten the surfaces by rubbing on upturned fine wet n dry . see first part of this video:



Then anneal to soften the work hardened copper
