CG's hols

Our trip to Wales wont take long as we have no van, so we planned stop off on the way in Chester. We then decided to stay the night around Chester but we have no caravan Whistle . So I have booked us into this nice hotel http://www.grosvenorpulfordhotel.co.uk/ . Just think for the money spent on dinner bed and breakfast we could have bought 1/3 of a towbar. But young Finn cant have a nice swim in a towbars luxury pool can he? Laughing At work

Enjoy your trip ....

But there is more to life than the cost of towbar ....

Having said that I've really suffered at the cost of tow bars, my car is supplied through a company lease scheme where we change every 30 months. To be honest the cost of tow bars becomes quite significant on such a short turnaround time. I am happy to deal with the costs, given the significant advantages offered by my 'weekend gypsy' hobby. But if I'm going to be honest I will say that the cost of tow bars can be measured in £'s per night !!!! Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... would it be better with the new car not to have a towbar fitted, and use a friend/neighbour with a towbar, when the caravan needs to be taken off the seasonal pitch for storage

Unless of coarse your not seasonal next year Idea Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Leave the caravan towing to the Transit tipper drivers, that can tar mac your drive cheap "cos we're doing the motorway/road round the corner, and will have some tar mac left over" and the head office only has a mobile Number! Laughing

New car should arrive July, van is staying where it is until end of October and have the option to winter store on the same site so will probably take delivery of new car without tow bar. We have a couple of friends who might help out or if worst comes to worst we have a tow bar specialist a couple of miles away.... Stornoway Grey GS ...
