Hi
Easy to change, but is in a very vulnerable area for water contamination - after fitting I soaked in WD40 - two years plus still OK.
Regards.
Gordon.

I replaced the sensor. It seems that the misfiring problem has disappeared.

I'm having the same issues on my 57 plate manual - was looking for a replacement sensor on ebay etc but found various designs all of which 'fit my car'...

Does anyone know the part number(s)?

Thanks. 2004 TD4 Gone

Ring Maltings Off Road near Doncaster , I’ve just bought aftermarket crank and MAF sensors from them . The crank is about £18 . They know all there is to know about FL2 , also if there is any warranty issue it’s a real person and company to deal with . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Most of the Landrover parts retailers eg Craddocks , Island 4x4 etc have the LR part numbers

Have just spent a while getting old crankshaft sensor off hoping to replace with an OEM version. Alas no the replacement has a locating slot on it in a slightly different position to the original as you can see from photos plus a few other differences on fixing hole. Original is oval replacement is circular means I cannot get the locating lug to fit.

With the later sensor the cable plug needs changing also as the slot cut outs are not exactly the same.
