I have a 2012 FL2 40,000 miles, I have noticed lately when locking and unlocking,the car its doing its own thing. Usualy one click for drivers door and 2 for all the rest but now its pot luck such as 2 clicks doesnt open the tail gate and have click again, its like the system has gone out of sync.

Change the microswitch in the boot handle. Corrosion in there can cause all the symptoms given. Under £30 and an easy morning or afternoon job. The newer version is better sealed.
