I can't understand people saying the armrests are annoying. I love them and only are they in the way when I reach over to the glove box, but other than that they stay down all the time.

I think you just need to find the right setting for them and for highway cruising they are a dream.

CG the knob is not on the end but under the armrest towards the end so it is mainly out of site. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Sumatra Black

One of the main reasons I upgraded to the premium leather pack on my SE was to get the arm rests... Love em and use them all the time... If they are in the way just push them to the upright position…

The only annoying thing is when the other half drives the Fl2, she sometimes leaves the armrest up and when I get back in, I automatically go to rest my arm on something that’s not there… Embarassed 2008 SE, HSE wheels, Black Premium Leather, Privacy Glass, Sports Kit, Side Steps, various LED upgrades and Clear side indicators.

I think they're great.

Leave them up in heavy trafic as I drive a manual and it's easier to shift. I just use the passangers armrest then while I wait for the cars to get moving again.
On fluid traffic I pull mine down and use that.
